Day 3 Prelims – Age Group Nationals

The day started off with the 100 Breast. Rhys J swam a blistering
race, clocking a 1:11.1 ranking him first. Following was the 200 Fly, Mark G
finaled in 7th place with a time of 2:15.5. After that the 200 Fly was the
big 50 Free where we saw 2 finalists. Mark G is 8yh in a time of 25.49,
and Steven H is 2nd in a time of 23.96. To end the morning was the 800 Fr
timed final, where I finished in 4th again (it
hurts…) with a time of 8:51.81. Spencer S also swam the 800 Fr to
a best time of 9:11.3.
Tonight seems like a promising night for BRSA
to bring home some hardware.

First medals for BRSA tonight, it was really
exciting. Rhys kicked
it off with a silver in the 100 Br with a time of 1:10.33. Steven H grabbed a silver
aswell in the 50 Free with a 23.86 the fastest time we’ve
seen in a while! Mark
Grasdal also did well, matching his times in 200 Fly and 50 Fr
respectively. Energy
is buzzing through our team. Hopefully we see more of our
teammates on the podium
