Day 4 Prelims – Age Group Nationals

This morning, Bow River saw Rhys Johnson make
the teams only final.
Dropping more then 4 seconds in the 200 Br, he swam a blistering
2:31 that seeded him first for finals. Unfortunately, our 4x100 FR
relays for 15+under and the 16-18 boys relays weren’t seeded
fast enough to be in the final. However, both swam very well and
posted the #1 time of the prelims. Perhaps the best relay split was
Steven H who led out a 52.7.
Tonight we’ll see an excellent 200
Breast, and we’ll see how our relay fairs against the
competition.

Day 4 Finals – Age Group Nationals

Despite having fewer finals than we’ve
had any other night, we were not disappointed. Rhys bettered his morning swim by
a few tenths, finishing in 2nd to Josiah Butt. It was a very tight race,
and well swum on each swimmer’s behalf.
